My aerator is 10 years old and starting to leak oil around the shaft coming out the transmission, is there a seal or bearing that you replace ? Never messed with one. Guess you'd have to have a gasket in between both halves of the trans too.

I think you mean the gear reducer.
Yes, I think there is a paper gasket, plus a seal, or o-ring, depending on which brand of motor you have. The gear reducer is considered part of the motor, so you will have to go to the motor manufacturer, not necessarily Ryan. The reducer comes apart readily, when you remove first the pulley, then the bolts holding it to the motor.
