That is the 18 hp... it's big enough! The other vac I've used for the past few years was an 18.

I've seen the 13/14 hp units run and they are WAY undersized on a big pile of leaves. No comparison.

Nice box. We built ours a couple gets ago almost identical but used thin wall steel tubing. Metal was put on the outside. Rear door identical to yours. Ours fits even to the outside of our dump bed. Is there a vent on there? I disnt see one? Good luck.

Vent is on the roof, shown in a bunch of the pics. Not trying to answer for you PE just thought I'd throw it out there.

They did a great job. Worked totally off what we described... no detailed drawing or anything. The owner of the shop that built it came up with ideas as he went along. Like the inset screening- it looks so great and performs perfectly!

Yea, look at the pics- I took a few of the top screening. They constructed it so you can remove a few screws and take out the screen panels to replace the screening if needed.

I have some pics from today. Juts got home- long day of mowing and leaves.

We made 12 stops today, vac ran at 4 of them with HUGE piles.

The box is half way full after today. It works perfectly- venting is ideal, the leaves are evenly distributed in the box (which I think is a good sign), and NO leaks. We should have had a piece of plexiglass installed in the back door so we can check our leaf levels. Can still probably have on put on.
