Fall Cleanup Productivity?!
Hi guys, I saved all summer and went all in for a leaf loader and a walk-behind blower. I see instant production with the walk-behind blower over backpack's (money well spent). Now the leaf loader (18hp Little Wonder) I have mixed feelings over tarps. I guess time will tell with the loader as I get to some of my customers I have done before. I really thought I could do the you rake em' I take em' and be gone in 20 minutes but as I get to using the loader it is taking more time then I intended....Any tips or tricks on making leaf rows so I can just drive along instead of piling it all in one spot and trying to break though monter piles. Seen some people put up snow fencing but I see that putting another 30 mins dinking around. Thanks for any advice.

Do yourself a favor and get rid of that blue tarp. Find you a mesh tarp like this one

Not sure I would have posted a pic of my stuff to the world if it looked like that. That trailer is a real winner.

Thanks Corey, I actually spent a couple hours tonite and ditched the tarp, boxed it off and put chicken wire vents on top. Thanks Orangemower, I started out with a push mower 3 years ago and paid cash for all my equipment, next year when I get a lazer it will definitely be time to upgrade. In the meantime I am very proud to be this far along.

try the old pallet standing up with a little chain on it. Load the leaves and then when your ready to unload back up to a tree and wrap the chain around it and drive forward to pull out the pallet and all the leaves.
Thats doing it Harrison style right there boy!!! |

I actually started out in the Fenton area 15 years ago mowing for Mansour Developments, Georgetown Park and Sub off Torrey & Lahring. Then went on to Good ol' Grandscapes and White Pine, got bored with the work and became a mason for 5 years, then the bottom fell out in fenton. Moved up here to get out of the rat race, obviously no work up here so I had to create my own.
