I'd guess that 10 to 12 would not be surprising.

I pull a 7x14 dual axle with my V8 Dakota. Normally get 17-18 MPG. With trailer on and loaded, lucky to get 10.

You will be in the same boat. Join the 10 MPG club

Seems like all these guys are figuring about what you will get.

I get 11-13 out of my 7.3 Power Stroke.

Depends on the terrain and load. I pull a 16 foot dual wheel 7k with my Suburban . Suburban gets an avg of 17.6 no trailer, 11.5 with, and not loaded with more than 1500lbs. More load, less mpgs

I used a 1994 S-10 with a 4.3 pullin a 5x8, got eleven mpg.
I used a 1988 Z-71 pullin a 6x12, got nine mpg.
I went to a 1993 Isuzu Npr 4 cyl diesel turbo 7x11 bed with 3 foot dove tail, I now get 13mpg.
