Hustler Sport 42 Mulch kit
PJ,
Just purchased a mulch kit for my 2009 Hustler Sport. It has a Briggs & Stratton engine Model 929851, SN 10042 258. The kit is part number 111163. The kit included only the Close off plate and bolts, no blades is that correct? Also, is there supposed to be a 1 1/2" gap in the front between the close off plate and deck where grass clippings shoot out? As always, thanks for the help. Bigjoedo |

Big Joe,
My good friend PJ has moved on and I've been asked to fill in until a suitable replacement can be found. The 42" Sport had a couple of different models of the 42" deck. Looking at your model number and doing some checking you should have gotten kit #112609. Serial numbers are normally the trigger on what kit but I've been told the 929851 does not use the 111163. The 112609 comes with mulch blades. Brian O |
