bidding jobs

does anyine just go time and materails?

i dont like giving a hard number to people bc im not always 100 percent sure and dont want to ove rbid or under bid time and materials seems fair for both parties

id imagine you can markup the materials. but 30-40 per hr per man seems decent to be getting???

I always mark up material you have to go get it load it unload it unless u are charging man hours for that?

grandview it would still be 30-40 the expenses would be materials and yes charging man hours to get everything unless it is an unreasonable distance usually everythings withinn 5 miles

Markup on material is key. Walmart wouldn't be in business if they didn't mark things up. If you have to pick something up and bring it to a property that costs gas, and man hours. That's putting you in the red before you even get to the site

okay thanks guys looks like i just need to spend more time on the estimates seems that i rush them sometimes and thats why the numbers are too low/high

still new to the game so dont know all pricing were it should be and what not
