Wild violets in near dormant St Aug

What products would you use in St Aug that is still green but not growing any to speak of. I do not want to cause any damage with it being near dormancy. I would use Metsulfuron @ .50-.75 spiked with Dismiss @ 4 oz acre under actively growing conditions. Just wondering if this would still be ok. I do not read any precautions against it but know that grass normally should be growing to process the chem. I'm in south Arkansas, zone 8 for what it is worth.
