2005 Walker Mower MTEFI 26 OIL/CYL HEAD
2005 MTWalker Mower Kohler 26 EFI Model CH26 Spec 78528. Was sucking up leaves and the engine was spuddering out and the OIL/CYL HEAD light was coming on an off. The light would go off when i engaged the blades sometimes. I was able to continue sucking up leaves for about 3 hours (just to get the job done) then it finally spuddered out and died. It does start but still spudderes bad. This walker does have 2000 hours on her. The circuit breaker has been blowing for a couple years now (reset it and continue working, don't know if this has anything to do with the OIL/CYL HEAD Light)
Things I checked/changed - Changed Crank Shaft Seal (Still Leaks Oil), Changed Internal Fuel Line In Tank, Oil Level Is On Full

Mike....I'm guessing that the cooling fins on the engine are clogged with oil and dirt..maybe even leaves.
The light probably let's you know when you are overheating...not a good one to ignore.... It may run if you change the sparkplugs...but don't expect a lot from your engine... You probably cooked it...blown headgaskets..stuck rings..burnt valves....stuff like that....

Mowers are your best employees...they show up and work hard when you need them to..
Unlike regular employees...crying and pleading won't bring them back when they quit.... Time to become a mechanic.....or pay one....
