Wow! Can't beat 100%. One year I had one custumer die and two move. I didn't lose either because my families' rental businesses owned the houses. I was set up as a matainace company. The only time in over 40 years I kept every one.

Seems the last 10 days has really livened everyone up: We booked a solid month of work in that time.

Thats real good, usually my phone stays ringing this time of year, but this year it hasent. I service about half of my accounts year round and those houses all look great. Hopefully it will keep raining and we will be busy the rest of the year.

Have craigslist adds flyers and 20 yard signs. So far only 1 customer.

Positive thinking. Honestly. Can you get only 30 people to give you 30 dollars a week for an amazing service that makes their lives easier and better? 30 people out of how ever many are in your service area... Only 30! I know you can do it.... Heck, you know you can do it. If you want to be succesful the best marketing mantra has to be "if they aren't finding you, then you have to find them." Only 30 people my friend... then you will be rolling.

ok sounds good so just start knocking on doors after around 5pm when the residents will be home then? Dressed neatly collar shirt and kaykes. Would that be my best shot you suppose then?

It takes time to brand yourself and to learn what works in your particular area. There is a "sweet spot" in timing too. Things are just getting kicked up here so things are getting crazy. Door to door never worked well for me in my early days. I just did quality work and differentiated myself from my competition. I never advertised much other than graphics on trucks and shirts, i just had good luck with word of mouth. Network with ppl everywhere you go. The jobs will come, just give it time.
