Exmark Metro Hydraulics
I have an 2008 Exmark Metro with a 23hp Kawisaki engine. I just had the engine replaced and now the hydraulics on one side are not working. It was working fine before the blown engine but sat idle for 2 months before engine replacement. When jacked up the wheel turns when engaged but can easily be stopped with my hand. Thinking pump but it was fine before the engine failure. Any help would be appreciated

Is the bypass valve on the pump tight? How about the belt/routing?

Yes the bypass valve is tight. I'm thinking I will swap a pump from my other identical machine during the downtime on Thanksgiving and see what happens. The Hydraulics go right to a wheel motor, where are there belts?

Look under the mower...make sure the belt that turns the pumps is tight.
