leaking carb

I have a carb that is leaking from the smaller bulb (its off a honda aerator). It is the threaded metal bowl. not the larger bowl where the float is. I have tried another bulb and it still leaks I even tried plumbers tape and still leaks.

That's weird...you sure it's leaking from there or is it just appearing to leak from there? What I suggest doing is dry it and then take a small piece of tissue or paper towel and starting from the top run it around the assembly and see if it's getting wet somewhere else.
