do those spring up front really do anything? The red piping on the seat means its the nascar model, right?

They really do. Any rut or bump it just sucks it right up. The bigger the bump the more you notice how well it works. It's actually pretty impressive. When it got dropped off I kinda had buyers remorse because of the cost. After spending a couple hours on it I could not be happier.
