Lettered trailer with rivets
How does the lettering cover an enclosed trailer with rivets. How does it form over the rivets if need be and does it peel sooner than a flat surface. The enclosed trailer that I am plannning on purchasing the panels are riveted.

rivets on enclosed trailer
I have two trailers with rivets. I was concerned about rivets and asked the installer of the wrap about it. He said it would go over the rivets and they would get in down around them. So far they have not come off. Most trailers are riveted so I guess it must work.

I'm pretty sure they use a stippling brush or other tool like a bondo scraper/squeegee along wiith warmth of a heat gun to soften the vinyl and press it in around the rivets for a good seal. I'd say not to worry if you have an experienced installer.

My exterior isn't riveted. It has metal screws that hold the aluminum siding on. When I got the trailer lettered, they just took out the screws that were in the way of the lettering and then put them back over top. And as they screwed them back in they put in extra vinyl to cover up the screw. Looks seamless.

My graphics guy put them over the rivets. No issues in 3yrs.

Could always switch to a rivetless exterior. Doesn't cost that much more that's what I got.
