Office all in one printer
I'm looking for a desktop printer for invoices. I have a hp1501 all in one and it seems I replace ink all the time. I usually only print 50 invoices a month and other extra letters.
Just curious if anyone had found a good long lasting printer. Posted via Mobile Device |

I have used hp all in one printers over the last 10 to 12 years, always buying their newer and better models and hated the cost of ink aswell as various other small problems. Always had hp computers as well.
Last spring i couldnt get the wireless function to work and after 2 hours on the phone, they said my hp printer was not compatible with my hp computer....both less than year old.. I went to Costco and brought a brother lazer printer/all in one....have not had aproblem since i got it in april....nor have i had to buy anew toner cartridge.... I print alotta crap ...

I'm using an OLD HP laserjet 5P. I have it setup on my network to print from any machine even the laptops. I'm not sure how many pages/cartriage but I haven't replaced it in a few years.

Thanks guys. I'd be interested in what models others are using and how well they like them. I'm going to keep an eye on Christmas sales.
May just be time to spend a little extra and get a good machine Posted via Mobile Device |

Based on the 2 responses is a laser jet the best over an ink jet?
I know with a laser jet it seems u can get more pages but also know I will have some unkind words when purchasing a ink cartridge!!! Posted via Mobile Device |

I use Kodak all-in-one, Black ink $10 & Color $15. Before that I used Lexmark printer & ink was like $30 each ($60 for both). I'd throw printer away & just buy new printer for $50 when I needed ink cuz it came with ink for $10 less than 2 cartridges! SMH!

I use a laser for B&W stuff, invoices, and inkjet for quality or color printing. Yes the laser is cheaper in the long run but hurts to refill.

I bought a Brother all in one laser at Staples, can't remember the model number since I'm not at home, but it was less than $200. I believe the replacement toner cartridges are around $65, but they're good for about 2500 pages. Only drawback to the less expensive laser printers, you can't do color printing.

Hp officejet premium 8500 plus. A black cartridge runs you around $50 but gets you around 2200 pages. Laser quality at inkjet price. I used to work at office depot and i found this to be the best option for small to medium businesses. The printer will cost you some $$ though
Posted via Mobile Device I guess they have a new version. Also its about $150 less than when i bought mine http://www.officedepot.com/mb/skupage.do?skuid=527404 |
