As the title says has anyone had any luck?

I know the best advertising is word of mouth, but I'm looking for more work. I have a website and haven't got anything off it. Any ideas?

EDDM = Every Door Direct Mail

I do a lot of my marketing via direct mail and there are less expensive ways to do it than EDDM that have faster and more reliable delivery. Direct mail is a numbers game, you can expect about a 1 - 5 per 1,000 response, depending on the timing of the mailing. It's very effective for us but we mail 120,000+ postcards per year and we're marketing multiple services with our mailings which "improves" our response rate.
