Question #5. Kohler CV740. ..27 hp with DSAI ignition...
Condition...Fuse blows instantly when key turned on.... Unplugged coils...now the fuse doesn't blow...but starter stays engaged in all key positions except OFF. Name That Failure...

4...has nothing to do with the wiring.. 5 and 6 have something to do with the engine harness 7...doesn't have anything to do with anything...

No...but the fuel solenoid is what is eventually turning off the engine when the power is turned off...
