Centipede vs St. Aug
I have a customer that has all centipede grass and she wants St. Aug grass instead. What do you think is the best thing (or correct thing) to do? Plant patches of St. Aug or spread some St. Aug seeds around?
I wouldn't say re-sod the entire yard, I think that's a waste of money. I would say plant some patches of St. Aug and let it take over.

Once that happens, sounds like it'll take a while for the St. Aug to grow. But once I lay the St. Aug the yard would be sitting up real high. Bout 8-10 inches from the sidewalk.

Then rent a sod cutter to remove the centipede.

i'm no master of grass types for sure. i've seen grass here called carpet grass. it looks like st. aug and centipede too. they all look alot alike to me. very thick, they don't grow tall very quickly.
looks like this: ignore holes in yard from downed trees due to tornados.
