Would this work?

Curious if you guys think this could work, would save me having to buy a hedge trimmer.

he was probably in the same boat; use what I have riding mower and a crane or buy a hedge trimmer. What you see is his answer.

There is a BIG company around us, who uses electric trimmers tied to broom sticks.... I kid you not.
