Kohler CH15T 44535

I got the motor running strong again and I'm thinking about using it to power a generator head when needed. HF has a cheapo 10k watt belt drive head with 1" shaft, same as the Kohler. Does anyone see a problem with using a Love-Joy coupler and hooking it up direct drive rather than belt? Also, it needs a 18+hp motor to get the full 10k watts and my motor is only 15hp(probably less). So long as I don't attempt to use too many watts for the motor I should be ok, right?lol....The last part: looking over the Kohler Command Pro manual I see they made a 16hp model. The specs and dimensions of the 15 & 16hp are identical. The only difference I can find is the 16hp model has a spark advance module and the 15 doesn't. Can my 15 be upped to 16hp by adding the module? Does it require a different fly wheel or magnets? Thanks in advance.

I'd say go with the lovejoy. Make sure you get a big enough one tho. As far as the hp q? I would say there's other differences that might be unseen
