I gave my guys a week off for the holidays and two weeks pay. I'd originally thought about cash, but my CPA said to run it through the books, so they got Social Security, etc.

My guys are hands down the best paid irrigation employees in town. I give them a few days and a couple hundy. They don't complain because they still made about 10-30k more than their counterparts at other companies.
To sweeten the deal, I might throw in a few SPRINKLER BUDDIES!!!!!

We usually just have a big BBQ right before Christmas. I generally will give out gift cards that value between $50 and $100 depending on what kind of year it has been. In years past we were able to do more but the last couple of years have been tight. I think that most of my guys are just happy to still have a job.

I usually give a two week paycheck for a bonus. This year I did a little less.
