Urine Powered Mower?

Sounds like a great solution to the bathroom break dilema that's frequently discussed here. Just plug into a catheter and mow away?

Great, and once our corrupt and useless president finds out, he'll want to tax us just to take a whiz.

that is great. i cant believe 14 year olds thought of that. I dont even know how. I really hope this expands and becomes feasible for most. Imagine, pee powering your motors! Alot of people use animal dung for cooking because the methane. This is a great idea.

So how long before the first Dem politician cry's were falling behind in the new pee motor industry and since its the future we now need 30 billion in new stimulus spending to catch up.

Right and I hate to rain on the parade because this type of innovation shows ingenuity but the title is missleading, that generator is not powered by urine alone, along with that there is an electrolytic cell and borax and I am sure those have to be replaced as they get used up in the process, and these minor details cost money in terms of consumable materials that have to be supplied.

I mean, I believe an electrolytic cell is a battery...
Well I can power a lawn mower with just that, but more important is that once we add up the costs of the electrolytic cells and the borax per kilowatt hour of generation we can then compare it to the production of standard gasoline engines.

And unfortunately I'd be willing to bet...
The gasoline engine would likely come out the winner, in terms of raw material dollar costs per hour.
Yes, even with free urine.

Because all we're doing is going about electricity generation in a round-about fashion by first splitting atoms...
We could actually skip the atom splitting and likely have a more efficient power plant.
At which point the urine is no longer useful.

Maybe in my 'Golden Years' I can hire myself out as a Urine Producer and get paid for drinking beer and providing 1 liter/6 hrs for an endless supply of electricity...
I bet I can do 1/3 of a Liter every 20 minutes,,, no problem...
