Both the Raptor and the Sport fall into our residential arena of mowers. The Sport has a broader width of cut selection than the Raptor, offering a 42,48 and a 54" while the Raptor offers a 42" and 52" cuts. All fabricated decks on both and the frames are constructed rather stamped steel like other units in these categories. There are more similarities than dissimilarities of the machine. A short answer would be the Sport offers more bells and whistles than the Raptor. If added features interest you the Sport would be your mower. If you are looking for a sub $3,000 mower that will hold up year after year making your tall grass into beautiful short grass the Raptor would be your mower. You can find a more detailed list of the unit specifications on our website hustlerturf.com
