Kaufman trailers?

Im looking to upgrade my 18' long 6 ton skid steer trailer to a 7 ton deck over trailer. I am considering Kaufman trailers. They are cheaper because you buy factory direct. Has anyone bought one of their trailers? How is the quality?

Damn good trailers with plenty of options to build the trailer you'd like. Contact the factory rep and they'll usually send you a brochure and all kinds of information on them..

They are "ok" trailers. I priced a 21K GVWR deckover trailer (3 axles, 18feet + 5feet dovetail) with them and it was about $500 less than the PJ's version, plus I bought the PJ's here in Raleigh. The PJs is handsdown a better built trailer, #1 - they are powder coated, #2 - the ramps are better designed (though kaufman said they could modify their's for me), #3 - they don't look as "home made" as the kaufman

Unless you are saving about $2000 or more I'd buy a local PJ's versus coming to NC, spending time, gas, etc.
