Finally after looking at everyones photos over the last year I got some time to sit down and load up a few of my work and equipment, last year was my first year as a solo operation. Thanks for looking guys

the last 2 pictures was clearing out that tree line and had to hand pull it away which sucked bug time! but the pay was right so you wont here me complain

Everything looks great except that "wall" or w.e. it's called. I personally don't like ANY sort of installed edging around beds or trees though. But you've got to be willing to cut the stone and what not if you want to do something like that. Just looks like a home owner did it. Your edging around the beds looks amazing though. So nice to see a little spring lol

yea i totally agree but thats how the homeowner wanted so I didn't have much choice! I tried not to influence him much at all because i'm trying to get his lawn for this season I just bought the craftsman edger for this coming season so all those edges were done by hand with a spade shovel, hoping the new walk behind edger will be powerful enough to edge out any future mulch jobs I get. Thanks

Honestly I used to do what the home owner told me. Now I make it clear either it is done right or not at all. The problem is you might get his lawn but your work will speak to the neighbors and if they're not impressed they wont call. I have a Brown Bed Edger. Great for big edging jobs and new beds. But NOTHING edges as clean and as well as a spade and a person willing to put the time in using it. If you buy an edger buy a brown edger. I demoed the others and while they do a decent job they have nothing on the brown. Not only does it edge but it pulverizes small stone and roots to small particles minimizing what you have to dig up.

I didnt approve of how he wanted it done but the neighbors must have liked my work because I ended up doing a few small things for 2 or his neighbors so I was really happy! I mainly bought the edger for driveways, walkways but I thought if it has enought power for any kind of bed edging that would just be a plus for me!
