Starting lawn care business
Hello, I am wondering if anyone can provide me with numbers on what goes into estimating the price I should charge per hour of work?

Question is what is your time worth? In my case, I expect my company to make $60 - $70 per hour. After expenses, that gets me $30 per hour. This business is tough in the beginning, but if you stick with it it can be very lucrative.

At first my labor rate was 35 ph, but as I noticed I wasn't barely making anything after paying for gas and the other things I raised my hourly rate to 55 ph, which seems to work out great. I'm also new and am looking for an estimating guideline but haven't found anything. A lot of peoples responses are you'll figure it out which I guess I will after either under bidding jobs and busting my butt for peanuts or I get the look from people like I have two heads when I tell them a price. Nillsion has some books and guidelines but there 150 bucks. Not sure if there worth it or not. Well if you find anything please post it. Thanks
