Z-Max Opinions

I'm in the process of taking our chemical apps in house and putting together the equipment. I want to have everything as streamlined as possible and get the best production I can. What's the good and/or bad about the Z-Max unit. There is another company in town that got one a few months ago and the operator loves it.

not trying to be a smart ass but you might do a search there are some guys on here that have added different things to there max to get more out of them...that might give you some ideas or atleast somethings to think about..

As Gregory said, you may do a search.
I for one have been running a z-max for 6-7 years, maybe more and still love the thing. I pull a tow-behind aerator with it, I have done many specialty sprays through it. I have in fact come up with a liquid fert to run through it too.

I think maybe if I did it over again I might go a size smaller to fit through gates.
Other than that it has been amazing. The production I can get done working alone is just great.

I've done some searchs, but not any real reviews of them. We have a lot of commercial properties that are pretty open and easy to get to. The Z looks like better option for larger properties than some of the other ride on's.
Pilgrim - I did talk to a local guy that has one and his only complaint was the pump being replaced several times. LT support told him that he shouldn't run liquid fert through it. Care to share your secret for liquid fert?

i dont think you will find any other machine that can cover the sq ft that the max can.. i only have a jr and love it...i dont have any problems with my jr had it since '07. but i only use it for my yard.. which is an arce of turf...

I haven't, the closest dealer is 8 hours away.

i live in ft myers there is a dealer here in town.. i am only 2hrs away..
