Its similar to the toro turfmaster 30. I have a toro timemaster 30 (residential) . I bought it when it first came out. Its a nice mower cuts great and runs good. I'm sure its a great product or exmark probably wouldn't have put there name on it.

I believe that's the same engine on my 21" x series. That thing has tons of power. Mowing regular maintained lawns wills be fine. It may be 30" but you don't have the weight or all the belts like a regular walk behind. And its only 9" more than a 21". This on has a chambered mulch kit which will help use less power vs using just a block off plate. Plus you can just side discharge. I have one ordered and plan on side discharging mostly. Now if someone was to do bi weekly lawns or forclosure homes I would say just get a regular walk behind or stander or just a z. I use my 21" at least 5 hours a week. So if I can save time and foot steps I will. These are lawns that are tough to difficult to get anything other than a 21" or now this 30" to fit.

IDK, they put their name on the 26" mower which was a flop.

After the 26" fiasco, I don't have a real good feeling about this mower. I suggest waiting for at least a year to buy one. I can not see this thing working out very well.

Very true about jumping on the bandwagon. You see a lot of similar products like this. My timemaster is ok but I wish I would have spent a little more money and bought and actual walkbehind. Owell there's always ghis year if all goes well in this crazy chicago atmosphere.

Who knows, it may be a great mower, but I would definitely let someone else be the guinea pig.

I also think it will serve purpose, but mulching long spring grass like people did with the timemaster is just a bad idea. I find even a 21" commercial can bog when mulching long wet grass, but side chuting does fine. Im sure side chuting will be fine and mulching on weekly cuts. I will get one for sure, its more nimble then even a 32wb and wont scalp as much, thats for sure plus a 32wb doenst cut dips and humps very well, not like how a 21 follows contours. Only time will tell, but I've been waiting for something like this to bridge the gap between 21" mower and 32" wb for a while, now I can get a 48 wb/stander for larger plots and variate between a 21 and this 30 for the rest. Just my thoughts, I mainly do small residential, where a 30 could fit but a 32wb, would be a pain and deliver a poor finished product(scalps, high/low spots and lots more trimming in corners and such).
