personal pace isnt nice-its useless for commercial mowing conditions!

I don't see how you would consider the personal pace useless. I ended up fixing my older Toro and getting rid of the junky JD just to get the better personal pace back. There is nothing more cumbersome than using regular bail controls on a lawn mower. Especially a heavy/bulky mower like the 30".

I have a 30 inch Toro Turfmaster. All I can say is it is a beast! Nearly the same as the Exmark 30

But the harder you push on the lever the speed you send to the transmission. I don't see how that is a single speed? I can go from crawling to speed walking/nearly jogging.

Used the exmark 30 all last summer. Great mower. Saves time just needs to have about 2 more hp. I like how it looks like a push mower for them old grumpy folks who think a 36 is going to rut out the yard.
