Kubota ZTR info?

Does anyone have any info on the kubota ztr mowers. Like fuel economy cut ride durablilty etc.? I started this thread because the others have no real info imo.

I know that Kubota makes a real tough machine, that should last for many years. Cut quality/fuel efficency I could only speculate as I've never ran a ZTR by them.

Which model are you looking at? They are all very well built, cut quality is decent to good depending on the age. The diesel motors will outlast the mower itself and get good fuel economy. .5-1 gph is some numbers I've heard out of the diesels. They ride pretty rough though.

I've got a ZD326 Kubota and it is a very good, tough mower! I've got 190 hrs on it so far and it gets around 1 gph + or - 0.3 depending on how tough the mowing is. As far as the seat/ride goes, mine is really good but it comes with a suspension seat. I wouldn't buy a new mower anymore if it didn't have a suspension seat on it. It makes all the difference in the world!! As far as cut goes, it is on a par with my JD Ztrak. I don't think you can go very far wrong with a Kubota, but my deciding factor would be the dealer support that is available!!

I have a ZD 321 it is a tough machine and it is easy on diesel, great ride, comfortable seat.

kubotas are built like tanks. The company i used to work for we cut some rough areas and tall grass. We had ZD331's with 72in decks. Our fuel economy prob wasnt the same as people cutting regular grass. When we were cutting regular grass they would prob run for 4 hours or so and we would use around 1 of the 2 tanks up. The built in jack is also kinda nice to have incase u get wrapped around something.

Priced one today a 331 with 72" deck for $14,250 + tax. Good looking machine and the mower deck looked very similar on the bottom to a exmark.

You will probably just have to stop someone who is using one and ask. I have tried to get a review on them with very little success. The few who have have been helpful but very little on the net in what you are looking for.
