Whats My Van Worth

1994 Ford Club Wagon 5.8liter 103K miles with dual AC and good transmission. It need a head gasket(leaking water into cyclinders). It was our irrigation repair vehicle.

your better off fixing it up unless you are upgrading to a fairly new van or need the extra cash. I could get vans like that for under $1500 all day long in my area.

We bought a 2012 chev van because this thing was eating our lunch. It was in three different shop before our Lawn Service Shop took it in this winter and found the real problem. Putting a head gasket means pulling the engine. And after that what next. Well freeze plugs are rusted so....cooling system not good. These vans are mean to work onl

I was think about starting at $1500. Keep in mind we got guys here that will change an engine out in the Auto Zone parking lot. I could get a junk yard engine put in also. Sadly we just got rid of a 1989chev, the ones with the peeling blue and silver paint.

Craigslist in my area its a 1000 bucks if it runs, doesn't have to drive anywhere, but if it runs $1000.

90's Ford's suck unless you want to constant have them pulled apart every 6 months. I learned my lesson with a '93 f-250, after I bought it I realized there was a lot more wrong then what the seller (a friend in the industry) told me. It took me 7 months to sell the truck and I got lucky that I broke even. If you have a new truck and don't need this one, just give this headache away.
