exmark HP ??
Does anyone know the difference between a turf tracer opposed to a turf tracer HP? Is it a cheaper model or something? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Yes, a TT HP is a cheaper more basic model but still a very nice mower. They have smaller engines, a manual blade clutch instead of electric, don't have the Donaldson-style air filter and the front caster bearings are really more of a bushing. The HPs are more in line with what most walk behind mowers are, the full blown TT is more like a Z rider that you walk behind. Oh, the decks are different too.

Thank you Darryl G. That is exactly what I needed to know. I'm looking at an HP but I was unsure whether I would be better off with the full TT.

You're welcome. The Turf Tracer HP is now called the S series with the full Tracer being the X series, which is really a deluxe model. You don't see many of them around used and the ones that you do find tend to have a lot of hours on them. Also I think they only come in 52 and 60 inch decks.
