Scag Turf Tiger Question

What model year did Scag start putting the Velocity decks into the 61" Scag Turf Tiger? Someone posted an ad on Craigslist stating the Turf Tiger they are selling is a 2005 model and the pictures show it has the velocity deck on it. I own a Turf Tiger model# STT61A-27KA and mine has the advantage deck on it. I was told mine is a 2006 model year when I bought it. Was this incorrect?

Did Scag actually sell some Turf Tigers with Advantage and Velocity decks in the same model year?

05 06 was the change over. Yours may of been a carry over. In your model number the "a" after 61 means advantage deck. The 05 you look at should have a "v" after the 61 if it is factory installed. Someone also could of replaced a deck over the years also.

Yeah and the 72'' decks were advantage too.
