To be honest if I couldn't have gotten that deal then I wouldn't have gotten it. I've bought every bit of equipment I have from them so they definitely take care of me haha

You know I feel like most dealers should do that, give a deal if you are loyal to them or if you are gonna pay a big amount in cash they should throw something in for you or discount it somewhat.

I totally agree and what's a few pennies in the dollar to them when it helps us out BIG time. This dealer I bought it from has been around for a while and are a "mom and pop" store that has expanded to several locations and they definitely see to it that you get the best deal possible and are totally not stingy with warranty or other fixes and that's why I keep going back!

Being loyal to a dealer is definitely a good move rather than buying at the big box stores and/or online. I will try to bargain a bit on bigger purchases like a mower, but on handheld stuff and parts I have no problem with paying list price to keep them in business and essentially to buy a top spot on their priority list. The goal is to minimize or eliminate downtime, and a good dealer realtionship is key to that.

I totally agree with paying full price and even more so since they threw in the trimmer...why would anyone not go back after that. I would much rather buy from them than a big name. Plus when I go in now, the price I'm given is automatically the lowest price they can possibly give so I don't even try to haggle. They negotiated on the mower because it was winter. They sell used equipment too a few months ago I picked up a tru-cut c27 in AWESOME condition for $400!!! I couldn't believe it. Nothing wrong with it except dull and missing bagger. And it's only 4 years old. I ran in to get a $0.50 part and left with that!
