uneven cut on John Deere 757 60"

Greetings...new to this forum, so any help is appreciated. My middle blade is cutting about one blade width deeper (1/8-1/4" I assume) than the other blades. Everything seems to be tight and I can't remember hitting anything too hard...new blades also. Any suggestions before I tear into it? It makes a big difference when cutting Bermuda short. Thanks

No...although I wish it were that simple. I did get one on upside down a few weeks ago when my 7 year old "helped" me put the blades back on .

Have you checked the blades on the different spindles by lining them up tip to tip? Since you said you had new blades we can assume the center blade is not bent.

Yes, that is what I did this afternoon...thought I had a bent blade but put the new ones on and the same thing. Guess I will have to examine a little closer

Move that blade to another position and visa versa and eliminate one thing at a time
Did that blade have a washer on top or bottom and is that correct , You can take all the blades washers and clean everything and inspect but mark the low one when you put it
on the outside,

im not familiar with John Deere but the only thing I would add on top of other's suggestion would be your spindles condition. Obviously if it made a sound it would be apparent that it were faulty. But it could be possible the spindle's nut has backed off and the spindle is sagging below the bearing housing. If the blade touch tip to tip though that wouldnt be the case.

thanks for the input guys...I switched spindles etc and it still cuts the same, new blades, all the same so I assume I must have bent the deck. Seems like I would have remembered hitting something that would have bent the deck!!

Is something wrapped around the bottom of the spindle? Sting or twine? The blades sit over the center of the spindle up to the shoulder is that area clean?

Is the front of the deck to low? That would put the center blade cutting lower than the outside blades.

Pretty sure the chains would break before you bent the deck.

Check each blade tip height in 4 different positions. One of them is off.
