What did you pay for the Snapper pro S50xt 48 inch cut?

I'm looking at a new snapper pro 48 inch cut with a 19hp kawasaki. Dealer want like 5,200 out the door. This seems awfully high I see people saying they payed around 4,000. If anyone knows anything about the pricing of these I would really appreciate it.

Thats not a horrible price really... Thats what $4750 before tax? 2-3 years ago $4000 must of been a price to get rid of them. Now dealer cost is higher than that.

that's not bad for a 48 inch pro. I payed the same for a 42 inch hustler fastrack superduty. You're getting 6 more inches for the same price. Now at 4 grand you're getting a 38 inch snapper pro where I'm at.

Bump!!!! Getting ready to pull the trigger on this mower. Anyone who's had this mower or knows anything about it please help me out. This will be my first ZTR, and I don't really know what to look for, or ask the dealer when getting a mower like this. Also I was wondering if dealers will take off some on the price on these mowers. The guy at the dealership said they all run about the same price everywhere so they really don't adjust the price much. I'm paying cash up front what would you guys recommend offering?

The main thing the dealer was saying is he sells his service and any time your mower breaks they will fix it and give you a loaner mower while yours is in the shop.

Does it have the newer ICD deck? Mine had the older deck and it cut very nice with G6 Gators. I hear lots of good things about the newer ICD.

Anyway if it has the older squared deck.. I have a full mulching kit for sell.

I would go for it then...if the dealer is willing to give you a loaner. I know someone who bought a Toro G3 last year and mid-way through the season the engine block cracked. It was brand new!

Anyways, his dealer took the mower and replaced it with a new engine, but he was still without a loaner for over a week. Good thing he had back ups.

If he is gonna bend over backwords to take care of you with loaners and good service, then pull the trigger- its a solid unit that you will get tons of life out of

Yes that's what i'm thinking to. It's a little more than I ideally wanted to pay but hey I figure its better to go new then deal with someone else's problems. Not saying you can't get a good used mower but all the ones in my area have either way to many hours or low hours and a high price. Next question is what is the smallest trailer I can get a 48 zero turn and a 21 push on? Also do you guys have to get things fixed on your ZTR mower often?
