Well its really up to you to decide. I know names are hard cause I was in the same position you were when I started. Do a google search of the names you are thinking to make sure there are none in your area, then after you pick your name you have to either file with the county or state (not sure if your inc, llc, or sole propriety) and wait till it comes back clear. Then get all your signs, shirts, and whatever else marketing materials done. Seen a local guy dump almost 2 gs into everything just to find out there was another company not to far from him with the same name. So needless to say he was out 2 grand. Also it depends on your scope of work. Don't mislead by saying design if you are not capable of designing. See what I'm saying. I hope you decide a great name that's catchy and fitting. Btw goodluck with your business adventure.

I prefer Hudson Landscape and Design. C&C Dreamscapes seems a bit awkward to me, mostly because it seems to be an odd blend of the old school, generic "initial & initial" plus a modern, made up word.

You might (should) also want to factor in domain name availability for any future web site. HudsonLandscape.com is taken, so you might want to take that into consideration. HudsonLandscapeAndDesign.com, while long, is available.

I'm starting to think that a name isn't that important in this business. ... A few years down the road, name recognition an link to quality is important. But, "What's in a name?"
