OK folks, what is this wonderful specimen?

Looked like a Golden Arborvitae from a distance but close up it's definitely not, so I guess this is just a free bump, lol.

Good try Darryl......Like an arborvitae it is also conifer; however, It is also deciduous........

Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Gold Rush'

Way underused as specimen trees. Disease resistant and does well in moist conditions.

Another really fascinating gold variety is 'Kools Gold' an improvement over 'Gold Rush'. I believe its marketed by Buchholz and Buchholz.

Dawn redwoods are very under utilized in my neck of the woods. Most gold specimens used here are either hinoki or deodara with the occasional skyland.

The redwoods are very stately and pretty too.
