how to get ridbof grass in shrubs
I am looking for something to spray on like rye grass that is growing in shrubs without killing the shrub/plant?

Fusilade kills several different types of grasses and can be sprayed over many different ornamentals and shrubs without hurting them as long as it is mixed correctly. I've been using it for years.

I use a ton of this stuff. Segment Herbicide by BASF. Only way to go in my opinion. Make sure you mix it with a high quality sticker. I use Kinetic

I'll second the Segment(sethoxydim). Fusilade, while more commonly used, has a long list of plants that it must not be sprayed over the top of due to phytotoxicity. Many landscapes in my area are composed of plants on that "do not apply" list.
