hedge trimmers spreading pests

I am wondering what people use to not spread pests from hedge to hedge. I know the local store sells a bucket with a solution that is alcohol based but you need to hang the trimmers in it and I can not do that on my trailer.

A squirt bottle filled with rubbing alcohol. Make sure you treat your saw also between palms.

That works but I use a spray bottle. (Maybe that's what you meant to say)
Fluid film works great as a lube. I have never used this but it cleans and lubes, http://www.stihl.com/lubricants-and-cleaners.aspx
