Pushing snow Ferris IS700

Thinking of getting a Ferris IS700. Neighbor just bought one and dealer told him not to blade snow as it's only rated to tow/push 200lbs max. I push snow now with a craftsman lawn tractor and have for 7 years. Never an issue. Sounds very conservative to me. Any experience or input into the matter. Seems to me that with the Hydrogear ZT3400 drive at each wheel it would be just fine. I only plow my driveway and don't deal with alot of snow typically.
