after thinking about this for a week or so i decided the best route for my company this year was to run my chevy as my only truck to at least. It is getting a leveling kit and helper springs this week. I am buying a Big Tex 5x10 7k dump trailer. The trailer weights 1900lbs so i should be able to put 5 yards in it with some helper boards. my truck can tow 7000k legally so should be fine. After mulch season i am going to add a 7x16 Big tex open trailer either the 5k or 7k model to replace my 6x12 big tex i have now. I will also add the new scag walk behind coming out. talked to a regional rep about a demo. Im looking at a 36. Gonna add a Billy Goat Debris loader come fall to mount on the dump trailer. and maybe a second ztr mixed but thats a maybe

Your Chevy is a 1500 right? How has it held up to being used as a work truck?

yea its a 1500 but it was made to be a work truck. Its got the upgraded trailering package so i can tow 7000 pounds. It hauled 4 yards of mulch between the bed and a trailer. Pulled it with no problems and pulled by 6x12 with not problem with my mowers. It ll tow both trailers fine with the helper springs. My only complaint is they have these hook on the top of the bed that fall out and are pretty much use less. I am also putting a back rack tool box and a whole mess of lights on it 4 way strobes 2 2 light dash lights a whelen min responder and 2 led lights on the back rack and a brake controller. I will also be putting some KMC spy ghost and some BFG's. The main reason im only running 1 truck is so come winter i can buy the exact truck i want brand new.

Clearing project we did today took 3 hours with loads of brush to the dump. You can see the progress from the first pick to the 3rd
