question for you old guys

lol. yes, similar questions have been asked. the question is when beginning to gain customers what outstanding offer did you present to them to reel them in? free lawn cut, 50% off etc....I am offering this spring "free lawn care" then goes on to say on my flyer that the free cut is the tenth cut. sure others would be interested as well. thanks to all who respond.

Nothing is free for my customers, but they do get good service.

The only thing I offer free to my customers is quality customer service and I give out the trust needed to know that I am a reliable, professional. Just like Hank Hill

Free is for fools. No offense but. This is a business that pays bills and feeds mouths. Ask the electric company for a free tenth bill. They ll shut you off and let people die. They have and continue to. Not saying you should but the point is do not work for free, people seek this service so they want to pay and will not do it themselves so they know the result. No one will die from an cut lawn but may be seriously injured. Hahah don't work for free dude. Bad business...

Mmm, I wonder how many of them will say to you "I thought it was every tenth cut that was for free."? Then what? You end up arguing with them and they get mad (even if they actually knew it was only the first tenth cvut). You may lose as many as you gain this way.

not sure what you mean? my flyer says the tenth cuts free and I am a man of my word so it means just that the tenth cut free.
