36" Belt WB

Should I even be looking at a new Encore Premier 36" for a small yard/gate buster? What's the scoop on them?

Depending upon what you are doing a 36 belt for doing most back yards is fine with a velkie, it is not as good as a hydro overall but in alot of ways better.

If you are just using it to do maybe 5 to 10 normal size back yards a week that is all you need but if you are using it more than that other machines wil probably work better.

Belt drive 36's can be found very reasonable, I have belt and hydro and for me the hydro works way better but I need the hydro drive for some hard jobs.

I have a Encore and they are fine, mine is about worn out and has been great. I would buy used if you can.

There isn't much for sale used in the 36" WB around here at this time. Right now the price on new Encore is pretty good. I don't have much experience with a WB though. . . A stand-on and Z yes. I'm having a hard time justifying the extra thousand for the hydro Encore.

How would you like a Z-mower that didn't back up easily?
