How do I make my lawn care business legal?

How do I make my lawn care business legal? I live in Tampa, Florida area (hillsborough county). Should I be a llc, corporation, incorporation, etc? I don't really know the difference so any explanation would be helpful. The lawn care business is just my older brother and I? Would one of us have to register as like an employee? Any help would be appreciated.

I would go with LLC but thats my $.02. As far as how I just went to the place I take my taxes and let them deal with the paperwork.

You'll need a business license, business insurance and separate bank accounts, I'm still running as a sole propratar(sp) not sure a LLC is really required to be legit but it helps separate the business assets from your personal assets, notice I said "helps" not completely. I would go to your accountant and get the details they would know better and what would be best for your situation.
