G+ Authorship Observations

I have had Authorship set up for a few months, here are a few things I have noticed:

1- My traffic has increased by 300%. Is all of this attributable to Authorship? No, but I believe a big portion of it is.

2- Don't link to your G+ profile in your lawnsite signature or your threads will be attributed to you and show up when someone clicks on "More by Ben Bowen".

3- It is hard to predict what content Google will attribute to you. For example, I have blog posts that have been indexed but not attributed. However, our "privacy policy" page has been. Go figure.

Glad I found this post.

I followed the link to your plus page and it loaded then went blank except the plus page frame.

On reload it did it again. Loaded then went blank except the frame.

Do you find people following you or adding you to circles for no known reason?

Something is going one over at google.

Old links to my plus page are now coming up at 404's. Including links from the local search showing my listing.

It seems to be coming back.

It used to end after the digits.

Most of the people who have added me are industry people or from the "Portland" community I am in.

I don't use it much for networking. I like the way it facilitates my SEO efforts, thats about it.

I am having people out of the blue show up. They seem harmless enough.

I thought the circles were supposed to boost the authorship rankings? Besides classifying them as follow, friends and such... I think they are adding me to their circles? So if I post something, they see it?

I guess when I updated my google plus page the link changed.

Having some fits with it now. Links that worked 3 days ago broke.

The ones I posted worked at one time.

The links on my site did too until I updated some info then the links changed.

The warning here is change anything on the plus pages and the links could change.

Or it could just cause a hiccup.
