anyone with a newer gmc 3500hd diesel?

Just wanted to see if/how you like the truck and what you were getting roughly for fuel economy? Considering buying one with 3:73 gears. Thanks fellas.

I have a '12 chevy 1 ton dmax dump 4wd. I like it except for the cloth seats, shoulda got vinyl. They really beefed the new ones up, thhe front end handles a 1000 pound plow like its not there. Fuel economy wise I average about 10mpg, but im always hauling something or towing 13k, so its acceptable. A pickup will do better, my truck without me or anything in it weighs 10k.

Some of the " new" ones have all the dpf emissions crap so they only get ten mpg.

all of the new ones have emissions stuff on them. 2007.5 and newer dodge, 6.0 and up fords, i think 08 and up duramax all have it
