Providing Employees With Phones?
do any of you provide your employees with phones? we are contemplating doing a business plan for us and our employees and i just wanted to hear what others had to say about it, as this is a new idea for us...
it looks like there are two ways to do it... 1.) take their share of the plan out of their paycheck - this would insure that their phone is never turned off for lack of payment 2.) pay for their plan as a perk does anyone know the tax benefits? i would imagine it would be a 100% write-off thoughts? |

it would be their phone...i would supply it for business use, but i'm sure they would use it for personal use as well

I'm trying to figure out what your thinking, are you saying you want to provide them with a business phone they would be using for business purposes and personal use, and then deduct the cost from their check?

i'm asking how other companies do it...since it would be for business and personal use, how do you do it? match what your employee pays?

Everyone i know who has a company phone uses it for both personal and business use and the company pays for it.
