2008 Exmark Kohler 27HP sputters randomly and cuts out (840hrs)

I have 840HRs and randomly like every 30 mins it feels like the choke is on or it's running on one cylinder. For some reason when I drive home and unload the trailer it's worse it barely makes it up my driveway at full throttle. Once in a while while mowing it will back fire once real loud. It seems worse when I transport the mower while on the road going to another jobsite.

I have changed the plugs, air filter, fuel filter, changed gas, added seafoam. The end of the plugs where the boot plugs in seem rusted and corroded and the spark plug wires looked ok I guess.

Is it the Fuel pump or maybe the plug wires???

If the plugs were rusted the plug wire ends have to be rusted, If the wires are long enough the ends can be cut off and new ends installed..... Other wise new coils will be needed.....

Well I found the problem and it was very strange. The plug wires popped off. I installed them and they come out easy. I guess you gotta change the plug wires as well. The heat must of gotten to them.
