Set aside operating capital... I took a job one time that required a small handy-size chainsaw, so I went out and bought one... Depending on what tools/machines you need, you want to have a war chest of at least $1000 at all times and be saving up for the bigger equipment that you may need in the future...
Nothing is worse than taking too much time and therefore charging the client too much money, becuz you don't have the right tool for the job...
