Zero Turn Commerical Toro V. Scag

I am looking into a zero turn commercial mower around 61" and like to get some thoughts on brand based on their experience. The two i am considering is Scag and Toro unless someone can suggest another. The Toro dealer is very close. Thanks

Unfortunately you posted this in the wrong section. Your are looking at commercial ZTR's which should be under "Residential and Commercial Mowing Equipment", But you are new here so I can understand why. I have used both, and they both have great machines, but i feel the Velocity+ deck that comes on most of the scag lineup has better cut quality in MOST situations. The Toro seems to give a more manicured look on actual healthy turf. As for drive systems it all depends on which model you are looking at but both brands use extremely similar systems and really isnt a factor. The biggest factor when buying a new mower is having a good dealer to depend on when stuff does break. They are both great brands that sell great machines. If you have 2 different models that you are really deciding between then we can do a better job at helping you out, but just from a brand standpoint you cant really make a decision.
